Sophia Marie Jessee
Sophia recently graduated from BYU–Hawaii and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denver, Colorado. She will begin her master’s program online this fall through the University of Kentucky.
Sophia’s younger brother, Cole, was Finn’s mission companion—and it turns out he’s also a pretty great matchmaker.
Finn asked Sophia on a date, and they spent the evening decorating gingerbread houses with friends!
One morning while running in Provo Canyon, Finn stopped on a wooden bridge and proposed. Outdoor adventures have always been something they’ve shared—and Sophia said yes!

Finn returned from serving in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is currently studying finance at BYU–Provo and plans to graduate in 2027.

They’re Getting Married
Sophia and Finn will be sealed in a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Utah, followed by a ring ceremony and an evening celebration with good food, music, and dancing. They’re excited to share the day with the people they love most.
